TThe Les Paul™ Standard 60s Double Trouble model retains all the key features and high performance of the Les Paul Standard 60s guitars. However, this limited-edition model stands apart from the standard Les Paul Standard 60s models in two main ways, offering a stronger vintage character.

1️⃣ Pickup difference

The Les Paul™ Standard 60s Double Trouble is equipped with uncovered Burstbucker™ 61R and 61T humbucker pickups. These pickups feature classic white bobbins and Alnico 5 magnets, delivering a powerful and authentic tone.

On the Les Paul Standard 60s, the same pickups are fitted with metal covers. The uncovered design on the Double Trouble gives the guitar a more traditional, vintage-style appearance.

2️⃣ Finish difference

The Les Paul™ Standard 60s Double Trouble models use Vintage versions of the standard gloss lacquer finish. This finish has a slightly faded look, creating a natural, lightly aged appearance, as if the guitar has been played for several years.

In contrast, the Les Paul Standard 60s features a full gloss finish, reflecting the bright, brand-new look of guitars when they first left the factory in the late 1950s.

In addition, the Les Paul™ Standard 60s Double Trouble guitars feature unique burst patterns, as each body is hand-painted individually. This means every guitar has its own distinct and one-of-a-kind look.
