Novation MiniNova – Virtual-Analog Synthesizer

Overview

Novation MiniNova is a compact virtual-analog synthesizer combining a powerful sound engine, an extensive preset library, and advanced vocal processing capabilities. The instrument comes loaded with 256 factory sounds and provides memory for an additional 128 user patches. With the included Patch Librarian software, users can store and manage an unlimited number of additional sounds on their computer.

The preset library can be quickly navigated by musical genre or sound type, allowing fast access to basses, leads, and genre-specific patches such as techno or hip-hop. Novation also regularly releases free sound packs for MiniNova created in collaboration with renowned artists and sound designers.

MiniNova also features a powerful 12-band Vocoder equipped with VocalTune technology. By speaking or singing into the microphone, the incoming vocal signal is automatically tuned to the notes played on the keyboard. The internal effects engine allows the voice to be processed with reverb, distortion, chorus/phaser, gator compression, or EQ to create expressive and distinctive vocal textures.
