Features

The KRK S12.4 is a high-performance active subwoofer designed to extend the low-frequency range of professional studio monitor systems. Its 12" Kevlar® Aramid Composite Woofer and 220 Watt Class D amplifier deliver extremely tight, accurate and controlled bass reproduction. With bass extension down to 23Hz and a maximum Peak SPL of 119.9 dB, the S12.4 provides detailed low-frequency monitoring for mixing, mastering, sound design, broadcast and production applications.

Powerful and Accurate Low Frequencies

The 12" Kevlar® Composite Woofer delivers high articulation, fast transient response and powerful punch in the low-frequency range. The Class D amplifier provides dynamic and controlled performance while maintaining high power efficiency.

Four-Position Crossover

The Optimized four-position crossover control allows the subwoofer to be precisely matched to existing studio monitors. LPF/HPF controls help optimize low-frequency integration within the monitoring system.

Bypass Footswitch Function

The Footswitch control allows the subwoofer and crossover filter to be enabled or disabled. This feature provides full-range audio to the monitors without switching off the subwoofer, making it possible to quickly compare monitoring with and without the subwoofer contribution. The footswitch is not included.

Universal Connectivity

The KRK S12.4 provides XLR, 1/4" TRS and RCA inputs and outputs for flexible integration with a wide range of professional monitoring systems. Polarity and input sensitivity controls make it easier to adapt the subwoofer to different acoustic and technical configurations. The Ground Lift function helps prevent ground-loop problems.

Front-Firing Port and Heavy-Duty Enclosure

The front-firing bass port provides low-frequency extension while being optimized to reduce boundary coupling. The 18 mm Reinforced MDF enclosure provides high strength and durability. The EVA Isolation Pad helps manage unwanted vibration.
