Features

The KRK S10.4 is an active studio subwoofer designed to extend the low-frequency range of professional studio monitor systems. Its 10" Glass Aramid Composite woofer and 160 Watt Class D amplifier deliver tight, accurate and controlled low frequencies. Frequency extension down to 27Hz provides detailed monitoring of the lowest elements in mixing, mastering, sound design, broadcast and other professional audio applications.

The front-firing bass port helps deliver efficient low-frequency dispersion. The Optimized four-position crossover control allows precise integration with existing studio monitors. XLR, 1/4" TRS and RCA inputs and outputs provide flexible connectivity for a wide range of professional monitoring systems.

Accurate and Powerful Low Frequencies

The 10" Glass Aramid Composite Woofer delivers strong transient response and controlled bass performance. The 160 Watt Class D amplifier provides stable and dynamic operation even at high monitoring levels. A maximum Peak SPL of 117.2 dB provides substantial monitoring headroom.

Four-Position Crossover

The Optimized four-position crossover control makes it easy to integrate the subwoofer with the main studio monitors. LPF/HPF controls allow more precise adjustment of the low-frequency range.

The HPF Bypass function can bypass the subwoofer and crossover filter through a footswitch, sending full-range audio to the monitors. The footswitch is sold separately.

Universal Connectivity

The KRK S10.4 provides XLR L/R, 1/4" TRS L/R and RCA L/R inputs and outputs for flexible connectivity. Input Sensitivity, Polarity and Ground Lift controls make it easier to adapt the subwoofer to different studio monitoring configurations.

Durable Studio Construction

The 15 mm and 18 mm Reinforced MDF enclosure provides a strong and durable construction. The Black Vinyl Wrap finish and Black Paint baffle complete its professional studio appearance. The EVA Isolation Pad helps manage unwanted vibration.
