The S-300 V guitar has a classic layer shape, three single-coil pickups with two tone controls, one volume and 5-way selector. The double cutaway body is alder while the neck is maple; the fretboard is in maple, with 22 frets with dots. The typical vintage sounding guitar has 650mm scale. The hardware is chrome, the nut is white plastic, and the pickguard is tortoiseshell.
